The New Big Brother has just strated in Britain, and I, for one, will be glued to my screen. The selection of housemates this time has surpassed all expectations of weirdness. There's a transvestite who has just come out of the closet on TV, a witch who actually believes she has been abducted by aliens, a total slut who entered in a plastic nurses outfit, a disillusioned 70's dancer who thinks he's a pop star and a del-boy wannabe from London, just to start.
The rest of them are just as "whacky" and are sure to provide ample entertainment over the next few months. It's not even passed a whole week and already there's been tears and fighting. Along with a few gratuitous titty shots from Lesley.
And Makosi, with her extremely difficult, yet easily executed task of getting everyone in the house to dislike her, making them vote for her, and becoming immune from eviction if she receives the most votes. Brilliant.
Good on you Big Bro... you've done it again!!

My Fragile Feet
I like to skateboard. Love it, in fact. But i am constantly blighted by injury. At this very moment I have torn ligaments in my right foot, due to a failed half cab kickflip up a slope. This has happened twice now in as many months, and before that i damaged my left ankle about four times.
Does anyone else have this problem, and is there any method of strengthening your feet, or anything you can wear to help prevent injury? I've thought of wearing football (soccer) shin pads with the ankle protection, but this is just one basic thought.
Any ideas???

Global Dimming
It came to my attention that hardly anyone knows about Global Dimming. If you have heard about it, well, done, but if you haven't, pull your finger out and do some research.
Global Dimming is primarily caused by the formation of rain drops. They used to be formed by particles of dust or pollen which meant the rain drops were bigger. But now bigger particles of Carbon Monoxide and Sulphur Dioxide are forming the rain drops, which means they are smaller... and it's harder for the sun light to get through a lot of small drops that it is to get through fewer, bigger drops. And apparently, we have lost around 10% of our total sunlight on Earth in the past 30 years. It is actually holding the Global Warming back a little, however our planet is still heating up. And if it gets too hot, there's Ten Thousand Billion Tonnes of stabalised methane underneath the sea bed, which gets released when, you guessed it, the temperature rises.
Also, if we do not do anything about it, we will have irriversable damage within 25 years.
Now, am I crazy here, or does that sound a little bit scary?

The Entire Concept of Employment
It has recently occurred to me that employment is a relatively unfair concept. In a capitalist world the only way to survive beyond your means is to work for someone else, doing work for them. Now since employment has only been around for about 10,000 years it is still a relatively new idea in the evolution of the human race.
Before that, we used to rely on trade and exchanging our trade for other items in other trades. For example, a pig farmer would give one dead pig to a blacksmith, for re-shoeing his horse or something like that.
So i put it to anyone who is reading this, we rid ourselves of the inevitable drudgery from age 16 to 65 and actually do things for ourselves. It's the only way to actually save this planet in my opinion...

The Daily Drivvel...
Here i am again, a day after the previous post, talking rubbish again. You would think i would have much better things to do, but no. I'm sitting at my desk, at work, writing this, with no real motive.
Maybe i'm just filling time, or maybe there's a hidden message behind this? Whatever the reason, it's taken up just a little bit more web space and what's more... my name is on it too!
So until the next pointless post...
"well it's time, to say goodbye,
It's been good, having you, so near.
Although i've got to leave, it's the end,
I'll always be stayin' right here.
So my friends goodbye, it's just about that time,
wish that i could do, just one more song for you."
Peace out!

Andy Kaufman's death was 21 years ago today, and i for one, remember him as a great man with a lot of greater ideas. It's such a shame that some people choose to exploit his name and steal his ideas by claiming he has returned.
Well let me tell you, he never died. He may have stopped breathing and declared officially dead by doctors, but his spirit lives on. (That sound really cheesy but it's true) I mean, how many people can still be considered to be radical even so long after they have died... Che Guevara? Malcolm X?
I enjoy Andy's work to this day and still laugh at the Saran wrap bit on the Andy Kaufman show, with the invisable steps. Good on you Andy, you're a legend.

This is unrecognised... and rightly so.
I expect no one to read this. Nor do i expect anyone to care, if they are.
My name is Adam, and I was born the same year Andy Kaufman died. Even though I was never officially alive when he was, I feel a connection with his ideas. I am currently working in a boring office job, on boring hours and low wages. I need a creative outburst or something, and i'm hoping that someone out there has the answer. This is not a plea for help, it is simply a recognition of what i will do...
...i hope you will see me in the near future on your TV. But until then , i'll keep working towards the goal.
Thank you very much.
