I'd just like to add this...

About ten minutes after I added the previous post I started to play my guitar, and my parents wanted me to play for them and for about half an hour I played songs on my guitar and we had a really good time singing and laughing... when all of a sudden, the next door neighbour knocks on the door and starts swearing his head off
:

"Turn the fucking music down, people have to go to work in the fucking morning" and so on...

I can accept the fact that we were too loud, but I think it's better to be as dignified as you can about it and not swear your head off about it! I mean, all we were doin were singing and laughing.

And the time was only 30 minutes past midnight... it is christmas afterall isn't it?

I Cheated! (Sorry)

In the past few weeks I have tried my best to not get stoned and focus on what's important. I write this now totally drunk and a little bit stoned. But let me explain first,

Today I went bowling for the first time in my life and it was amazing. I had a few Budweisers (maybe about 6) and I'm quite drunk right now. But I say to you, is it wrong to get drunk (and stoned) once in a while. I mean, to deny our own impulses is to deny the very thing that makes us human, (i got that from 'the matrix').

But I do have a job, and i'm working very well at it, and I'm prepared for Chrismas and I'm making plans for next year... it's not as if I've lost it is it. It's just a minor hiccup.

So, please don't think that I've given in, cos I haven't. I just thought I'd try and get into the festive spirit!

And a merry f***ing Christmas to you too!

It's about this time of year I image what Santa would be doing if he was actually real! (Sorry for all you kids out there!) He'd be rubbing his hands while sitting in his huge antique leather and wooden chair in his huge office shouting at his executive elves: "This is it boys, this is what we've been waiting all year for!", at which time he'll shout at the nearest elf he sees:

"You boy! How much do we expect to make this year?"

at which the elf shakily replies "Only £180 Billion, Sir. We are off the target by £20 Billion!"

"What! WHAT!"

At which time Santa picks the elf up and throws him into the fire...

... oh, how I love Christmas!

How many people does it take...

I was just thinking to myself, in all this commercialised Christmas carnage, that Christmas lights (although symbolic and beautiful) are a complete waste of our resources. In these times of energy conservation and warnings or climate change and Environmental disasters that we should be looking at what is best for today's societies to function and cutting the little frills off the ends to reduce the load.
You cannot include things such as televisions, computers or radios, because that is where most of our information comes from (sadly). However things such as Chrismas lights, dancing santas and all the other crap that drains the juice from the power plants. I'm not saying that all lights should be banned, I'm just saying that there should be a restraint on how many you are allowed. I mean, people could say that fireworks are a waste of money, but what else could that explosive powder be used for? There are better uses for our electricity, but it's when it's no longer here that we realise this.
